Dr Kirby Quin is a Chinese Medicine practitioner recently relocated from Albury/Wodonga. From a young age Kirby was interested in how the body works and how traditional methods can aid in the body’s natural ability to heal.

Living in London she discovered alternative methods of healing the body and this struck her interest in Chinese Medicine, leading to her to complete her studies in Melbourne. Kirby has spent the last 6 years in Albury building 2 practices and being at home close to her family and those she loves. At the Border wellness centre Kirby worked alongside Dr Liz Onley, a GP and obstetrician. Additionally, with the Albury/Wodonga midwifery services, Kirby has been working with women in all stages of their life with menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy and beyond. Extended time spent practising in this area has led Kirby to a passion for Women’s Health. 

Kirby is an avid traveler and due to travel slowing in the last few years, in need of fun and adventure she has decided to fulfil a dream
of living on the coast exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast. When Kirby isn’t spending time with you in clinic she will spending time with her partner and 2 border collies Frank and Harle enjoying the outdoors on the beach, camping or eating something delicious in one of the many restaurants in the area (past life Kirby wanted to be a chef.. food recommendation in every treatment guaranteed!).

Although our health system today is focused on treating a problem when it arrives, Kirby aims to teach you to listen to your body and understand what it means when your body is out of balance and how to correct it. Kirby has completed extra training in many areas including postpartum, pregnancy care and fertility (including the effective Kirstin Wolfe fertile method). Further studies have been undertaken with Clare Pyers in integrative blood analysis & Kirby is also an Internationally accredited Cosmetic Acupuncturist after undertaking studies with Marnie Cummings & Dr Radha Thambrajah.

Kirby’s main focus in clinic has been prenatal, pregnancy and postpartum care, including working with patients with menstrual irregularities and gynaecological conditions. Kirby is not just limited to this and treats all ailments and looks forward to working with you in your health journey.
